Cleanser tips & recommendations

Cleansers are a vital first step to a daily skincare routine for a number of reasons. Even non-makeup wearers need to cleanse to remove dulling, irritating dirt, oil and pollutants collected throughout the day. Washing morning and night also paves the way for active ingredients in prescribed treatments to penetrate and achieve optimal results.

Choose a sulfate-free cleanser that will not dry the skin and wash with warm, not hot water to help preserve skin hydration.

Makeup wearers should cleanse twice or use a makeup remover before using a medicated wash.

Steer clear of most makeup removal wipes that can irritate the skin and clog pores. A good alternative is an alcohol-free micellar water or makeup remover suitable for your skin type and concern.
